NOLHA is seeking a volunteer to take on the Vice Chairperson role within our organization. This position provides support to the Board of Directors.

Skills:

  • Five (5) years of work experience in management or executive roles
  • At least 3 years of board experience with a nonprofit organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese will be an asset
  • Demonstrated experience in starting, building, or expanding a business or nonprofit organization
  • The passion and energy to lead NOLHA towards its strategic vision
  • Interest in management skills, community engagement, volunteer leadership, educational and social engagement in the community
  • Able to commit an average of at least 15 hrs a month to the role
  • Be available for board meetings typically held monthly on evenings after 5:30 pm
