Spanish Classes

NORTHERN ONTARIO LATIN-HISPANIC ASSOCIATION offers Spanish Club classes to help the community learn and practice Spanish.

SPANISH CLUB

The Spanish Language Club is a NOLHA program that will provide the participants the opportunity to learn and practice Spanish speaking skills in an informal conversational setting. Its focus is conversation, which is further broken down into speaking and listening.
All Spanish lessons are supplemented with grammar, reading, writing, and Spanish learning games which all enhance your conversation ability.
Our conversational Spanish immersion classes, taught by passionate and experienced native-speaking instructors, help you learn to speak Spanish in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Speak and interact with the classmates and build confidence in your Spanish skills using authentic and realistic scenarios.

SPANISH COURSE OUTLINE

The Spanish Club of Northern Ontario Latin-Hispanic Culture Association course Outlines provide a learning framework for the Spanish Language evening courses. They are designed to provide you with a good idea of what you might cover over a 10- week period, and include typical themes, grammar and vocabulary fields. They are flexible rather than prescriptive, in that our teachers may decide to adapt their learning plans to the specific level, aims and interests of their classes. SPANISH PROFICIENCY

A wide range of topics based around students’ own interests, could include topics of general interest: global issues, popular science, environment, media and advertising; culture and entertainment; beliefs and religions, etc.
Materials used to spark conversation will include articles, DVD, video, internet extracts

Classes are currently offered through the Sault Ste. Marie main library. Classes for February 2019 are already full. Next classes will be announced soon.
